Beyond his role at TIS, Dan recently completed his second and final two-year term as Chair of the IB (International Baccalaureate) Association of Japan, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to educational excellence and collaborative leadership within the international school community. He is also a certified IB Evaluation Leader and has served as a site leader for school accreditation visits for both the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Driven by the belief that true leadership is cultivated, not merely inherited, Dan founded HoS Habits to distill practical, actionable insights from leading figures in education. Through the HoS Habits podcast and the HoS Habits Leadership Lab, he aims to share the proven routines and mindsets that foster resilience, drive innovation, and lead to truly impactful leadership, particularly for those charting their course toward headship.
